| McD's Monopoly Game - Any tips? | | Hey All, I often eat McDonalds for breakfast as it is too much trouble to make breakfast on your way out the door at 5 am. Normally I would eat the BLT Bagel, something about that sandwich draws me back. But since Monopoly has started my partner has got me eating Egg McMuffin's. Not that I mind them but I find them to be sometimes very messy. So, as the Monopoly game goes, does anyone have any good techniques as to little things like going to different locations for different stamps, for playing continuously throughout the campaign, release dates... anything. I found both Target, and Toys R Us, had better deals than even Walmart. Toys R Us had some awesome offers, on a lot of different products. I got a free DVD with purchase, and a free lego toy, with purchase. Target has a whole bunch of toys marked down. I did not get one of the ones I wanted, it sold out before I checked out, but I did get the others. | Target Big Toy Book vs Toys R Us Toy book for children this holiday? | | Which company did a better job on grabbing the child attentiona nd the parents this christmas holiday?I saw Target has a toy book boy was it fat and had very good coupon in it like 3 pages alone where Toys R Us book was flat not very well done and hardly any coupons.

Good or bad considering FAO Schwartz is a higher end toy store and Toys R Us has been struggling themselves. I work for a liquidation company and last year we liquidated KB Toys. | Shooting in Toys R Us | | I am not sure if many of you heard but on Black Friday there was a shooting in Toys R Us. It happend to be where I live and it's very frightening to think people would shoot up a place, let alone a toy store. The men were not robbing the place, their girlfriends got into an argument and they pulled guns on each other. They open fire in the store with many people in there shopping for Black Friday. They ended up killing each other.I think it's really sad how bad the world has become to have this happen even in childrens stores. And why were the men carrying guns to a toy store in the first place? How sad is it that grown men who had a long standing dispute couldn't settle it like real men? They ulitimatly killed each other and their children were their to witness and now will have those memories of seeing their fathers die. How sad.What are your thoughts on this? | Grandma too young for Toys R Us discount | | Do you think there should be an age limit when it comes to being a grandparent? Well, according to this article, ToysRUs does. http://www.parentdish.com/2008/09/14/grandma-too-young-for-toys-r-us-discount/49 year old grandma, Linda Peters of Phoenix, went into her local ToysRUs hoping to use a new coupon that gave grandparents the right to spoil their grandkids at the store -- to the tune of 20% off -- they also included a disclaimer in the fine print: Grandparents must be at least 50 years old.So, needless to say, they didn't let her use the coupon. Toys R Us is standing by their decision. They say that any new promotion needs limits and putting an age requirement on theirs was appopriate. What do you think? | | Toys r us,who needs them | | We have just been out for a couple of hours,there was hubby and me and my daughter and her son,who is nearly eleven months old.At the moment my daughter has gone to pick up her daughter from school,and little grandson is playing on the floor..with a saucepan,a spatula,a couple of wooden spoons and a few other odd bits.Admittedly the saucepan banging on the floor tiles isnt blissful,but lol its keeping him occupied!!!..what dod you choose to try to keep your kids busy? | |
